Mental Preparation at
Team Eysseric Academy
Academy for the Development of Professional Tennis
Many tennis players think that talent is enough for performance. The Tennis Academy through each coach, on a daily basis, will intervene by giving each youngster the basics of mental preparation on the court and off court.
The Academy aims to develop the possibilities of concentration, visualization and memorization of each single player.
It helps him to better manage his emotions, to keep his self-control and to develop the values of self-confidence, respect, rigor, combativeness, determination, autonomy, lucidity, conviction.
The Academy also helps him to better manage a period of injury.
The mental preparation can only be considered in the context of a team work because, around the coach who is the "center piece", each speaker (coach, physiotherapist, physical trainer, sports doctor, etc ...) will bring his knowledge to help the athlete to progress.
The academy regularly involves mental preparation specialists in workshop sessions, such as Jean-Philippe Vaillant or Jean-Michel Pequery.

Absolute weapon of the sportsman, the mental preparation is more than a practice in the sport of competition, it is a philosophy. The staff of the academy is constantly focusing, on the court or in workshop sessions, to give young people the means to improve mentally and to optimize their abilities to succeed by learning to manage emotions, to evacuate stress and have fun in sports practice.Mental preparation
The competition does not start at the 1st point of a match. Preparation, transportation, warm-up, encouragement, follow-up, as well as debriefing with statistical analysis and new objectives to come, constitute the complete package of successful competitions.Competition monitoring
